Kenneth v25.0 released today
After a year of internal testing, I am excited to announce that Kenneth v25 is now generally available! v25 has to be one of the most turbulent and unstable version yet, and a lot of work had been put in to make things more stable. It is yet another significant release, containing one of the biggest and best change.
- Joined Prime Intellect, working on making AI accessible to everyone
- Got invited to events to talk about what Prime Intellect is building
- Kenneth is about 50% more self-aware
- Fulfilled the dream of visiting San Francisco
- Met my friends IRL in SF
Pushing the Frontier of Open Intelligence
AI has undoubtedly been a trajectory-changing technology. Tremendous strides have been made over the last few short years. It started as basic chatbots, and now it is pushing the frontier of every corner of knowledge work.
I believe that the pushback against it stems not from the technology itself, but from the power dynamics of its distribution and narrative. Unless people feel like they have a say in in this new wave of technological revolution, they will remain skeptical about it, to say the least.
This is why it is important to make it as accessible as possible - exactly what Prime Intellect is doing. I am more than grateful that I can not only contribute to this mission, but also work alongside some of the most talented and motivated people who are all-in on the same vision.
The Dream of visiting SF
Ever since I became interested in programming, I have always wanted to visit SF. Funnily enough, I have a bigger social circle here in SF than London, even though I don’t (yet) live here. Now here I am, celebrating my birthday with my friends and writing this blog post. I could not have asked for a better birthday. I really really want to say thank you to my friends who came along to my impromptu birthday “party”, because I had not thrown one since I was a kid.
The moral of the story is that I can try as hard as I can to convince myself that I love London and that I should be content being there, but (perhaps unfortunately) I am a human, and I do crave social connections, and friends matter more than what the city offers! I love my friends, and I want to see them all the time. I can’t do that remotely!
Plan for v26
I dunno. We ball. I will have as much fun as I can! See you next year!
